FIFTH MOBILITY – VISIT TO ROMANIA – TECUCI

The fifth mobility was realized from 15 th May until 18 th May 2024.year by visiting in the town of Tekuchi in the east of Romania, 200 km from the border with Moldova. We were deeply moved by the traditional welcome in folk costume with salt and with a cake in front of the school. This time our host was a school for education of students with
disabilities “Constantin Paunescu”.

They showed us from the very first moment that there were many cultural similarities between our nationalities. After visiting the school, we went to the city school museum,
where the mayor welcomed us and opened it after a welcome speech debate
Integration of disadvantaged children, between meaning and reality, with examples of good practice in Romania and Europe. We heard presentations of their teachers in regular schools and challenges that they faced with. The group of students is in cooperation with volunteers, young students pedagogy performed the performance I am unique, different.

The next day we went with the students to the city park, where music was organized
and art workshops. At the same time Macedonian pupils made beautiful artworks which were exibit in the school. Our students danced and followed the dance steps of their peers from another nation and another language. The beneficial effect of music is well known arts in the manifestation of potential in children who have reduced possibilities. This is supported by the fact that music and drawing are used as therapeutic benefits.

One group of children made a mosaic of printed coloring books, each child colored his/ her part of the work, and at the end they put together a large mosaic, where we highlighted the importance and contribution of each individual in the process of creation. With the intention of pointing out the protection of life environment, the children decorated the pebbles with natural colors that they gave contribution to the
successful implementation of the art workshop. The last day was followed by handing out certificates and summarizing impressions, while parents and students from Serbia did not hide their delightness.
