SECOND MOBILITY – ITALY: 2 nd – 6th DECEMBER 2023

FIRST DAY DECEMBER THE 2ND

The second mobolity was carried out at the beginning of December 2023. Three students, two parents and two employees of the school were traveling. The departure for Nicola Tesla Airport was in front of the school at 3:00 am. The flight was at 6:00 am from Belgrade to Rome, where we arrived in the early hours of the morning, after an hour and 20 minutes of flight. We toured the capital of Italy by panorama bus. Students and parents had a unique opportunity to see all significant cultural and historical monuments and attractions of the Eternal city: Colosseum, Fountain di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Roman Forum. After a tour of the city and lunch, in the afternoon, we headed to our final destination, the place called Donoratico in Tuscany. The train journey took three hours. Our project partners met us at the station. The first day ended with socializing with the staff of the local school and kindergarden.

DAY TWO, DECEMBER THE 3RD - TRIP TO PISA

Day two, December the 3rd was reserved for a trip to Pisa. In morning hours we took the train and travelled for about an hour to this famous city. It is the largest and center of the district of the same name in the province of Tuscany. The city is located next to the river Arno, just a few kilometers from its entry into the Tyrrhenian Sea. The most famous landmark of Pisa is the Leaning tower, next to which we took some great photos. After excursion, the hosts organized a dinner. It took place in Silvia’s home, and we were able to try some of the local dishes and specialties. Then we sociallized with each other and spent a pleasent evening together

DAY THREE - VSIT TO THE MAYOR'S OFFICE

On the third day, 4.12., our delegation was received at the mayor’s office. Later on, accompanied and organized by the host, we visited the place and its educational institutions – the primary and secondary school, as well as the kindergarden ,,Il Parco“. We had lunch there. At 1:30 in the afternoon, the first inclusive workshop was held in which our students and parents participated. The rest of the partners on project, who were not present in person, participated online. The dinner was organized in a local restaurant, then we enjoyed a guitar concert in the local theater.

DAY FOUR

On the fourth day, we headed for the beach. Castagneto Carducci is on the coast of the Tyrrhenian sea. It is actually part of the Mediterranean Sea between Italy, in the northeast, the island of Corsica and Sardinia in the west, and Sicily in the south. The day was sunny but windy, waves were big. The children enjoyed the beautiful day and the clean, seaside air. Then followed the secod workshop -,,Let’s paint together“ at the ,,Il parco“. The other partners, like previous day, were present online, and participated in the activities along with their students. Later that day, after lunch and rest, a conference on inclusion took place. Our team, Greek and Itallian partners were present in the hall, with the support of the mayor, mrs Motolla. The principal of the school ,,Saint Sava“ also spoke at the conference, presenting the model of inclusion in our country. The participants of the conference were also partners from institutions from Romania and Macedonia who participated via video link.

Inclusive workshops, emotions represented through the colors, the easiest way of learning for all children (toddlers and the pupils from Sveti Sava).

Emotions represented through the music which included much more senses to understand the feelings in this workshop. For the toddlers and the pupils from Serbia it was the perfect way of engaging.

Figure of the human body which is showing to the children that the emotions are storage in the every person and that is the way to accept and understand each emotion as something that always passaway and we should never hold it in the body.
